Medicine Sales Policy

Medicine sales categories

Tsubaki Trading separates medicine-related products by sales channel:

  • OTC products: eligible products may show product details and, when priced and purchasable, may be added to the cart.
  • Class 1 OTC medicines: pharmacist confirmation is required before purchase.
  • Prescription medicines / medical-use pharmaceuticals: not sold through the consumer shopping cart. They are inquiry-only for medical institutions, pharmacies, and qualified trade buyers.

Information required for Class 1 OTC medicines

Before a Class 1 OTC medicine can be sold, the purchaser may be asked to provide information such as age, sex, symptoms, other medicines or supplements being used, medical history, adverse reaction history, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, and other relevant information.

A pharmacist may provide individual information by email, phone, or another suitable method. The product will not be shipped until the purchaser confirms understanding and confirms that there are no remaining questions where such confirmation is required.

Abuse-prevention and quantity limits

Products that may require quantity limits or abuse-prevention checks may be limited, refused, or cancelled according to applicable rules and professional judgment.
