Medical Travel to Japan is a curated, factual guide to leading Japanese hospitals that accept international patients. For each hospital we summarise its specialties, scale, international-patient accreditation (such as JMIP, JCI or the government-recommended Japan International Hospitals listing), the languages it supports, and a direct link to its official international-patient page. Tsubaki Trading provides navigation and language/coordination guidance only — we are not a medical provider, we do not give medical advice, and we do not guarantee acceptance or treatment outcomes.

What is JMIP?
JMIP (Japan Medical Service Accreditation for International Patients) is a national accreditation launched in 2012 and operated by the Japan Medical Education Foundation. It evaluates hospitals on their ability to receive international patients — multilingual guidance and culturally- and religiously-considerate care. Other quality marks you will see include JCI (Joint Commission International) and the government-recommended Japan International Hospitals (JIH) listing. JMIP official site ↗
How Tsubaki Trading helps
As a Tokyo-based trading and medical-consulting company, we help overseas patients and partners navigate Japan’s medical system: shortlisting appropriate hospitals by specialty, explaining accreditation and the application process, and providing language and coordination guidance so you can reach each hospital’s official international desk. We do not practise medicine, make diagnoses, or replace a hospital’s own international-patient service.
